Challenge.
Our client requested a free access site with the capacity for users to be part of one of the called Esferas: Cinematography, Editorial, Publicity, Musica and Art. Each Esfera will have to work as a separate entities with a VIP section each that only a few users will have access to. That means, having privileged users over simple users. On another page, there was a big question mark under Graphic Design, as this 5 Esferas are really different as they are similar, and each user needed to feel represented as an individuality but with a general concept and integration
Solution.
We decided to generate two Elgg sites, with the possibility to simply change from one to another easily, without registering or logging in again. The first site should be the free one, while for passing to the second site (VIP zone) admin authorization should be requested.
Result.
AsEsferas has this amazing image were every one involved in one of it's esferas feels just welcomed. Powerful colors invite the audience to participate and share online. The register is divided on five categories (esferas) and from the beginning each member is related with his/her activity. The VIP area access is as simple as a button on the toolbar that gets activated once the admin authorize it from his administration tools.
Big Challenge.
The need of an special site for certain users, but with integrated login and an easy way to move from one to another needed an special coding, as the advanced search between members of each esfera.
